I was thinking "Deep Blue? Here's a decent budget watch" but I'm impressed by this latest offering of theirs. It's always nice when a small company takes a chance and develops something unique.

I completely agree, when I first looked at it I thought, cheap poor wannabe but on closer reading.... Makes my Gen DSSD look very expensive and does the job equally well.

Yeah, these watches are absolute tanks. Nothing cheap about anything on this model. The 9016 is a very solid movement to boot. In person they really show out.
