Two totally different watches Gadgetguy. If you want this watch to look and feel somewhat decent, i'd suggest going for the Swiss ETA over the clone. Not because the movement is better. I am not one who EVER pushes this type of advice, but in this case, I have owned EVERY version of this watch, and can tell you that the 2 I love the most is an elcheapo from Ruby I paid like 149.00 for when they first came out and I got the movement swapped with a high beat, and a Swiss ETA I got from a member who got it from Josh. The others that came from Taiwan where junk in comparison, IMO. The dial...markers...and crown could not compare. Movement was excellent, but the rest...

it is doable, I mean some of these watches don't cost a lot in Guangzhou from what I have read in an older post on this forum. however some watches do actually cost over $300 there.

Oh wait he's asking to price match watcheden's SOSF to time4direct's SOSF? I doubt it man, that is a tough call since watcheden's watch is not 100% exactly the same as time4direct's. Watcheden's has an incorrect crown and their seconds hand is incorrect for any variant of the real thing. Otherwise, the rest of the watch looks the same. But yeah for what you're getting, just order from Time4Direct theirs is better and it doesn't cost as much.

For those who asked, no pics yet. The girlfriend snagged it and is out of town on business! :lol:

To my amazement, this watch has more removable links than I've ever seen. The bracelet sized down to her very petite wrists. Of course, the lugs hang over quite a bit on each side - mugging defense we call it!

Hont shipped fast - I got it about 6 days after my order was placed.

My watch smith (over 50 years experience and very well versed on gen and rep) confirmed that it IS a gen ETA movement, that it IS water tight to at least 6 ATM, and that it's the best rep he's ever seen. If I hadn't told him, he would never have guessed it was a rep (granted - he doesn't have a gen sitting there to do a side-by-side loup comparison).

It is an amazing watch! Very high quality, VERY heavy, and wears huge.

To respect Hont's standard operating procedures, I won't post the price on this thread. PM me if you want to know what it cost.

I forgot to add that, since the girlfriend fell in love with this watch and snagged it, I already ordered another from Hont, and he sent me tracking info the very next day. It should be here by the end of the week!

The unfortunate part of the story is that this one will appearantly be going to my girlfriends' best friend, who also fell in love with it and wants one. So I'll remove another 7 links and email Hont for yet a 3rd SFSO. :roll:

This is quite possibly the best/nicest rep I've seen. It's a very quality chunk of metal.
