By the looks of it, the factory that was building the 53mm U-42 has decided to discontinue making them!! Was glad to pick up a black pvd, however a little too late in ordering a SS version too!!!!!!!
Since I've only been around the forum for about a year, I'm sure there are many discontinued rep watch models members wish they were still built??

glad I got a IWC 3707 gst titanium before they discontinued them.
tons of fantastic reps are no longer made......tons of new ones comming out tho' so shop to dimm the sorrow, mate

Your absolutely right t-b!! the glass is half full I guess!!! Needed the SS version to plate and mesh pieces with the black pvd to create my own version of the unicom U-42!!! There is always a chance to nab one on the M2M or with a little positive thinking, the good chaps at any one of the factories might just rep the unicom version itself??????
