Noob making headlines hahahaha well played lads.

Agreed! I think folks here have great taste in going for "high-end reps".

I've heard it said on this forum before but watching these upclose videos is like watching watch porn! I'm just getting into watches in general and fortunate enough to stumble upon RWI and the Rep community and really it's opened up an appreciation for the gen watches while at the same time feeling like you can get a steal by buying a deliciously made rep!

I've been eyeing this Noob model for awhile and with the A4130 movement in it, apparently it can hold its own. Amazed that it is "making the headlines".

Not good for our hobby..... it was nice when they thought we were just playing with canal street type reps..... now they see what we are really playing with!

I agree. They'll reach a point where modding is not even worth it... in this case, I would only swap the dial...

Now our hobby and world is on the mainstream.

I will not be surprised if someone on my circle of friends bump on me and says, "nice Rolex man, is it the one from the Watchfinder, you know the fake one?"

Hahaha, all of them owns a gen Rolex, and I'm still sticking on my lovely Citizen =) and my first rep of Rolex (Daytona) will come next week hahah

Great video though. But he clearly doesn’t follow m2m sales if he thinks I need luck to sell my noob! And how do I feel looking at my noob? Pretty fucking good

That's the same thing I thought when I watched the video. These things sell like hotcakes on here

I'd be surprised if they could tell. Many gen only owners don't know near as much about their watches as we do.

This x100. On gen watch forums, they spend a lot of time trying to spot reps. There are a few who know a lot about gens and can offer advise. But man, this forum knows way more about what is different from gen to rep. I think a lot more people here could spot a fake better than most everyone on the gen watch fora.

Everyone complaining that this will bring a spotlight to the hobby but I'm kinda pleased. We do it for the love of collecting watches.

All this will do is hopefully stop assholes on Chrono24 selling an ARF for £24,000 to some poor schmuck who just desperately wants the Daytona he saw on Instagram
