Daytona on large wrist

Hello everyone,

I have always liked the Daytona Panda but I’m a bit concerned about its dimensions. I have a large wrist (21 cm) and I have always wore quite large watches, ever smaller than 41 mm. Daytona is, actually, a 39 mm.

What do you think? Would it be too small for my wrist?

Thanks and baci dall’Italia

I don’t have a Daytona but I have a skydweller and datejust 41 and I think they look good. I have a slightly smaller wrist around 19.5cm but I would assume the Daytona would look equally as good. I can snap some pictures later if you are interested but I’m positive another member can chime in here!

Thanks a lot, not necessary since I already have a 41 mm DJ and, actually, it looks very good on my wrist. By the way, Daytona is quite smaller unfortunately

Photo for reference. You don't have to put a 100% width circle on your wrist to look good, sometimes a bit smaller is not a bad idea. I am 187cm/90kg, I think my wrist shot looks good with my 116500 on.

It does look good

@lordoc00 The Daytona I thought was 40mm (could actually be 39 since I don’t know too much on them) but a datejust 41 is 39mm actually.

In the end it is also a matter of taste. I have a 17,5 wrist, and honestly, a Daytona is on the brink of being too small for my taste. But I still have 5 or 6 Daytona's because I love them.

But in general I prefer larger watches.

You right, DJ is actually 39.5 mm as also new Sub is 40.5 mm… apart from this absurd thing that Rolex declares fake measures, Daytona is actually 38.5 mm so even smaller. By the way, I think I could be able to try it on at a local AD… We’ll keep you posted

Get the new 126x which actually wears more like a 40mm rather than the 116x whixh wears like a 38mm
That could actually be a good solution... I prefer the 116500 design, but the new ones are still pretty the same. Thanks!
