so i guess the V3 should be superior to the V2.2 ?

i mean if they could only tell with close up pics.. i would say Noob V3 then?

Black v2.2 noob stock
White v3 with CF bezel
Center bezel is noob v3
In person the difference from noobs v3 bezel seems to have improved.

V1, V2, V2.2, V3, ....... factories are mixing parts all the time if they have big demands on parts they take what they get!
If you want that perfect Rep you have to mix parts and you need a lot of patience, time and money.

Do any TDS sell and possibly install CF or ARF dial/bezel separately?

I figured I may need to purchase both the noob and arf to possible achieve this.

TDs like Sead, Andrew and Li will install CF bezel in China before shipping. But nobody there does the ARF dial
mod to fit Noob case, you have to contact modders in this forum for that. And yes, unless you find an ARF dial separately (rare and sells quickly), you will need to buy both watches. But you can sell leftover ARF watch later to make up some of the money.

Appreciate the info. Regarding the dial noob vs arf dial what are the main differences? I know the noob subdials can be a little fat but what else makes the arf a better dial?

The mod itself, what exactly is done? Are they slightly making it smaller to fit the noob case

New noob v3 is very nice. The bezel is lovely. No need to swap in CF insert in my opinion (assuming you have actual v3 noob and not v2.2s or whatever).

Noob and ARF dials are now just as good.

Noob dial is pure white. ARF dial seem to have a touch of creme in it, making it a slight shade darker than noob.

Latest noob v3 bracelet and SEL is decent. I wouldn’t bother swapping in ARF bracelet like we did in 2019.

Overall, my preference is to stick with stock noob v3.

The Mod itself, ARF dial is shaved about 1mm (or around) to fit Noob case.

ARF dial printing crispness is better, the writing is better, Daytona writing color is closer to gen and most importantly, the markers are rounded (on both sides and top) and have the gen like WG shine when light hits them.As previous post mentions, Noob v3 has come a long way but my preference is still ARF v2 dial.

The ARF dial is placed on a mandrel in a lathe and 1mm of material is removed from the perimeter of the dial. The diameter goes from 29.5mm to 28.5mm. Furthermore the feet on the ARF are removed completely and brand new feet are soldered to the back of the dial. The reason for that is because the ARF uses a 7750 movement with ETA foot positions whereas the Noob uses a 4130 movement with Rolex foot positions. It takes skill and special soldering machinery to affix the foot to the dial without damaging the face of the dial by excessive heat.
