My Noob Daytona plated by Mr FlyingTommy, love it.

Not the place but thanks to an IG post I’ve fell in love with the 116508 (full YG black dial)

scanned this thread for any posts but haven’t found any, wondering whether to go ARF or the latest Noob v3, after having some plating issues with my Rose gold Noob I’m wondering whether it’s a big risk for the price tag at 718$... any of you Daytona lovers have any experience with either version?

both versions have flaws. mainly the engravings on the bezel are too thin, the counters are too thin and the weight of the watch does not match. too light for a full gold. the arf also has the wrong thickness. I had both versions and immediately resold. I recommend the 116518 Noob.

I can live with the weight, if they both share the same flaws I’ll go for the ARF, I have the SS and the bracelet is great.

I'm impressed you spotted so easily... TBH, I can't see so many differences in picture...

Got it from the AD few months ago.

I looked at thousands of pictures of white 116500 dials and can spot the difference between the different version of ARF, Noob, and gen dials easily. I knew the dial is gen but wasn't sure if the watch was gen or a franken haha

Wow, love it. I like the ceramic bezels, but LOVE steel bezels, especially with the modern font.

Can you tell me which point of difference is obvious?

First I looked at the quality of the print on the subdials and the position of the numbers on it. The main thing that makes me think it's a gen is those lines I circled LOL. Then I will look at a few other things on the watch.
