Well first offQuestion for everyone. I can’t quite pit my finger on it but my 116520 still does not look quite right even after a deep crystal and bezel swap. I can’t figure out what it is but it almost looks as if the crystal wasn’t cut properly and doesn’t have the correct step between the crystal and bezel. I did this swap a few years ago. Thanks in advance.
The deep crystal does not look gen, the AR is to strong, and the gen crystal looks more reflective. Some people like the look of the Deep because it highlights the dial, but it not a gen "look"
That’s what I figured! It was the crystal bevel. I bought it from another dealer who sold it as deep.Well first off
Secondly, i don't know where that crystal is from, but yes, that definitely does not look correct, the crystal bevel is completely off.
There are fake deeps for sure. I bought one to compare. Never installed it though
I went with a 2.3 gasket since the stock CF gasket had the crystal sitting way lower. I also read about the difference versions of Deep crystals (V1 and V2) Have no idea which one I received.
V2 edges have been roinded and reworked also ar looks better to my eyes

Of course, watches are a source of joy, some people like the Gen look, some people like fantasy builds. At the end of the day, do what ever makes you happyI do not understand the fascination with the desire for 1:1
Even gens can be upgraded/modded.
