It’s incredible how far the gold plating has come. The bracelet gold tone is spot on with my genuine submariner bracelet.

This one is my favorite of the racing dials but I know I need it plated or itll be tarnished (I live near a coastal city, all my stock gold reps tarnished in under a year, salt water and humidity kills rep plating) - how is it holding up for you?

I just got it actually, will keep you posted. Not a watch I’d wear frequently so should be fine for me

If you can swing it, the gen bezel is definitely a great upgrade. I am in the minority camp that thinks CF's plating is still pretty far off from gen. This is mine compared to a gen bezel (the rep bezel is still on the watch in this picture.)

Yeah I know you have a fantastic build right there! Gen bezel and gen bracelet is amazing! Your pictures were actually what put me on the watch... absolutely gorgeous....

I tried polishing my stock 116520 bezel but my hands got tired lol

Good job mate. With a Dremel or lathe machine you’ll get much better, cleaner and uniform results.

Polishing with Cape Cod per hand you’ll always have small mini scratches, at least when you hold it against the sun.
