I'd keep the noob base. Case is good, movement is still the best one of all.

Bezel, you can get xing and deep crystal in a package from Patrick. I'd update the clasp too.

And i would keep the noob crystal to as its more ”gen like” then deep. Deep is to clear. But if you want that look then you should change it offcourse.

@Temple this is 100% correct. Noob Daytona crystal IMO still one of the best crystals.

As deep has double AR it "eats" all reflections.
This can be solved by removing the outside AR. your watch Smith can do this easily.

I’m not sure if I’m misremembering, but didn’t the old noob crystal sit quite high too?. Assume this can be remedied by a thinner gasket etc?

Gen gasket, shaved gasket.

Either way noob gasket is too white and needs to be replaced anyway
