It's true, Aventurine needs to be seen in person to understand its beauty.

It's not just a bit

The lacquer isn't as shiny, the shape is different, the shine is more intensive. I believe you can see the color difference as it seems the hands are wrapped with 14k whereas gen are 18k solid. Also the pins are different, the 3d effect is less and the gen hands are more "edgy" I don't know how to say it

But these are things you can't see unless side by side. If I saw the btf hands alone, I dunno if I wouldn't think they're gen.


Also if you're paying 600£ and more for gen hands, please find another vendor lol

Yes I think so too. I think I even said it on a post somewhere on this thread: If you would have had the parts we have now 5 years ago, nobody would have doubted it's gen lol

I’m waiting for him to find a new Blaken dial. The factory won’t fix the dial they gave him (off centered coronet). But itll be worth the wait.

Btw clean with 3D batch and zf have the best hands after reps, sorry to btf fans, the pinion is just too big, not saying clean or zf are better in all things…

I’ve always had all my Daytona Frankens on Clean bases (apart from obvs Noob before)
I’m now currently building up my second 116500 Franken & have decided to go with BTF base for the first time… let’s see how it goes!

Cf hands still too boxy but so damn close. Lacquer is better than on btf, reflects more. Better than btf in that aspect. But btf color and pinions are better bro. Cf does the hole in the middle netter though.
