Black rubber suits that black dial 116509 well. In my opinion you need the contrast. The SS bracelet is too much.

Black dial for me. It can be worn for almost any occasion. Simple & beautiful. But for some reason the white gets more love.

Black dial for me too although I have to say until now I haven't handled a white one yet so maybe seeing the white one in live would change my impression but on pics and from my liking when handling the black dial model I would go with this, the metallic subdial rings with the light shine, the glossy black dial the red daytona writing on black paired with the black bezel which makes this model seem to look a bit larger than the white
