Agreed, that bezel does not look good at all. You're better off buying an ARF, swapping the bezels and selling the ARF at a discount to someone not so picky. It's been done here.

Something I didn't see mentioned here recently, a lot of rep dials plaster the SWISS up against the 33 tic mark and the MADE up against the 27 tic mark. Gen dials have SWISS centered on 32 and MADE centered on 28

Should I buy an ARF Daytona for the bezel? or is there another way I can get my hands on a better quality bezel i.e. eBay? I hope there is a better way than the former as I prefer not paying $500 for the bezel alone.

ARF is $488, you could easily get $388 for a brand new still plastic wrapped ARF with a Noob bezel.

Yes, for their WG Racing Bezel (SS) for Daytona. Nice deep and dark engraving font, miles better than standard Noob which have shallow thin fonts.
Other user bought their batman insert, it seems good enough, better than most of the rep insert at least.
Have to admit that their price is not the cheap though.
