Davidsen's Fiddy cost $350. Davidsen's Fiddy is the closest to gen.

Now how about those macro shots of Davidsen's Fiddy dial?

I agree with your point but I don't quite understand why you have chosen to deliver it this way.

There is a lot of info in your post that we don't need to, nor wanted to know. I mean, who (besides yourself?) cares how many gen Panerais you have bought last month? Or the profits you can make on selling your gens?

In martial arts, no matter who you are, everyone dresses the same, and acts the same once they are on the mat. Everyone is equal on the mat. You can have a poor gentleman paired up with a millionaire lawyer, or a democrat and a republican - all practicing happily. Who you are outside doesn't matter. Imagine how utterly ridiculous it would be for the lawyer to stop his partner and shout "Hey, I practice here, but I could buy this dojo tomorrow if I wanted to".

Yeah but you're not getting it...

i can't speak for you guys but I don't wear these to fool people into thinking I'm rich- I do pretty well and could drop $10K on a Fiddy tomorrow, in fact my three gen Panerais are worth more than a gen Fiddy.

I like the way the Fiddy looks. NOBODY knows what a real Fiddy is, much less what a friggin Panerai is anyway. If someone asks me I tell them it's a high quality replica of an Italian watch. Period. That's a far more interesting conversation starter than "It's a $10,000 watch that I drove my Mercedes to the Tourneau Store in the Boutique Mall to purchase with my Amex Black Card".

I have purchased five gens off of the Paneristi site in the past 18 months- Four from Lawyers, One from an Endontist. (Oral Surgeon) I sold two of them on ebay for a healthy profit- both went to Law Firms.

My wife and kids constantly pick up my reps and ask-"Is this the real one?"- They KNOW I have gens and reps and holding the watch in their hands 3" from their eyes they can't tell.

Bottom Line- If you're trying to fool people you might as well buy the cheapest peice of shit you can find, because they're never gong to believe you anyway.

For years I had people telling me that the cheap Canal street Quartz watches were just the tip of the iceberg- There were "Grade 1" Swiss Made watches out there. Since I despise Rolex I never bothered to look- and pickued up a few nice gen Tags and Breitlings.

Now when I wear my rep Planet Ocean and tell my friends that it's a $200 rep they really think I'm full of it- that I'm downplaying my wealth...

So I love the look of the Pams- all of them really- I'm happy with my handful of gens, I bougt them right and could sell the three of them and pocket around $4K in profits. But my daily beaters are a Planet Ocean, a Pam 104 wit the too small cyclops and an Asian 7750 (Deadly accurate) and the Fiddy.

Yeah but the whole point is that in my own case I don't buy reps for any other reason than I like the look of the watch- and I think these are very reasonable quality for the dough.

The fact that I have gens can't be bragging- since I'm totally anonnymous here- but just to point out that EVEN IF you have gens the reps are still really good watches. That's all.

I've noticed almost all of the hardcore Rolex rep guys own at least one gen- and that's sort of the boat I'm in- Found this place only after I'd bought a gen.

And yeah I buy them when they're priced right, and if I can I sell them off for a profit. What's wrong with that??? Part of being a collector is knowing how to maximize your value, and if you wind up with two 111G's you move one if the offer is right.

It's like anything- when you develop a certain knowledge of the marketplace it's tough to turn down an undervalued piece. Just like River keeps doing these amazing deals- I bought four watches from him this week- Cause a $378 Ingy Chrono Ti with $25 shipping is too much for me- But at $269 delivered I want one!

I agree with RqThrottle... THE DELIVERY counts...

Aqua: I get your point... BUT:

The point that stands out is the point that you're a rich guy....

hey I believe you.. no need to get rallied up. Stay kool man. 8)

Small Demonstration:

SomeDude345: "I own 3 BigBangs: One IceBang, one BlackMagic, and One Rose gold. I can buy any GEN I want...
I wear any rep because I like the look" ....

see how that sounds? very nice ain't it? ;) Now tell me, which point gets across the strongest? ;)

It's just miscommunication. No party at fault here. I understand your points perfectly.

...NOW LETS GET ON WITH OUR MAIN HOBBIES!

BTW, I'm getting a Davidsen Fiddy... for a partial refund on my 036 + 082.

crossing my fingers.. hopefully he'll get me a good 'un this time.. no crooked crystals hopefully ;)

Hey, I'm rich as the day is long......don't judge us! Yes, we have gens, 6 figure cars, wives with eating disorders and plastic surgery, and often a healthy appetite for cocaine. We sometimes work very hard and get obnoxious bonuses for what we do....though our toils help not society a bit. However, don't forget, we are human beings, not some freaks in a sideshow. :D

@Dawg.....sorry man, runaway tangent at the expense of your thread.

I'm a big fan of this piece. Probably my favorite rep as of late. With all of the mods included in the price, I think that it's great for the money as well.

Oh, and Tom Brady wears one, so they are definitely cool! Though I think he wears a gen.

So far so good. I havn't really heard anything bad about it yet. The only giveaway is the serial and the movement. I think we finally have a winner here. I really would like to see if it is possible to get another serial unique per order i know this would cost extra but i am willing to pay for it.

Remember my 036+082 from davidsen? Well I returned it to him.

He seem to want me to pick another watch.

As the nice and altruistic guy that I am...

...I will get the 'Ultimate Fiddy'

which hopefully comes with 'Ultimate QC'

..which will give me 'Ultimate Pleasure'
