Thanks Boudart,
I´ll keep that in mind.

I´ll ask David to send a replacement dial. It will save me a second trip to the watch smith.

Yes, I would definitely recommend getting a replacement dial and have local watchsmith do the swap for you. Faster and cheaper....

I´ll keep you informed on the progress. Domenico, our german watch smith, charges 35 euro for the dial change (excl shipment).

Update:
Davidsen is short on dials, the other dials are also of poor quality. He offered me to change the watch for another model. But to be honest, I fell kind of in love with this model. I have asked him if and how much time it will take to find a quality dial.

Or maybe I should upgrade to the pam177

Hi Guys,
It has been a while. I have received a new dial from Davidsen. I did not yet have a chance to have it put inside the watch and second I would like your opinion on the dial.
I have the feeling that it maybe not a dial for a PAM061. For comparison I have added a picture of an original watch.

What do you think?

To be honest i would send the whole lot back & take a full refund , obviously you ordered the watch from dsn thinking you where going to recieve quality which is obviously not the case.

Antony......contact an admin here such as R2D4...if he's back.

Give them a link to this thread and ask some advise from them. They can contact him directly and get this dealt with. It's been a long time coming anyway.

Antony, that new dial looks blue, is that correct? It's not just a trick of the photograph?

The dial should definitely be a tobacco brown color.

Also, are those hairs on the outside of the crystal in lower right corner, or just smudges?

Man that is one funky colored dial.

Actually the color of the dial is OK, just dubbel checked, its indeed tabaco brown, sorry for the confusion. The blue / purple is indeed an issue of the camera.
What I am worried about is the numbers on the dial. The look much thinner than the ones on the gen. Furthermore as you can see they are more or less engraved into the dial while the gen looks like the numbers are painted ontop of the dial.
What do you think?

Yeah, DSNs current dials all look like that. A good relume would reduce that effect and make the dial look much nicer.

OK, who would you advise to relume the dial? Preferably within EU?
Thanks a lot for your help. When changeing the dial I might as well get it done prperly. But I must say I am a little disappointed in DSN's work.
