Datejust 36mm: VSF vs. "Superclone"

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and would like to buy a Replica Datejust 36mm for the first time.

I have intime06.co in mind as a dealer. The factory would be VSF.

Now I have researched on Youtube and also learnt about "Superclones", which are around 800 €.

My question: are these superclones better and of higher quality than a VSF or are they perhaps "only" VSF, for example, which are declared as superclones in order to set a higher price?

Stick with the VSF. YouTube and Reddit tend to love to use terms like AAA and superclone to hype things up.

Whatever they are selling tends to be all sizzle and no steak as the expression goes. Read up on the models in the reviews and brands section here and you will find all the details you need to make an informed decision.

Most likely the "superclone" you have seen on youtube or read about on google is from one of the factories available from the TDs here on the forum.
If it is not a "franken" or a "custom order", you will not find better quality elsewhere. Don't pay $800 for a 36mm datejust, that's a rip off.

VSF is a very good choice. I have a 41mm myself and am super happy with it.

I will stick with the VSF and place an order with intime06.co .

Should I write an E-Mail if this model is still available or just pay the amount and wait for the dealer to get in touch with me? Also I will inform me here as well about the whole process about existing informations.

The only reason you'll see "$800" or "$1000" quoted on YT is because the dealers these YouTubers go to rip them off for as much as they can, selling them VSF or whatever at vastly inflated prices.

TDs supply the best reps available. Stick with TDs and the info you can read here on RWI and you'll be fine.

It's always best to do all comms and purchasing with the TDs directly via email, or WhatsApp if they offer it.

Also , it sounds bad that a watch that costs 10k is very closely replicated for 1k rather than for 3-500
