Bespoke saville row suit, shirt by Turnbull and Asser, ties Drakes, shoes John Lobb. Watch possibly Rolex but not that nasty Omega Commander.
Having said that I do like Omega watches but not that one!

Time for a name change to lethalcommander? :p
haha not with that ugly watch :/
I love the brosnan era SMP but this one was out of left field. Really hoping they make a new version for the new movie and don't use this one

Not going to happen. Not going to happen. Not going to happen. Repeat it often enough and you'll believe it.

The movie release is over 2 years away. Do you really think Omega will miss out on producing yet another Bond watch by then? I think we'll see another 3 or 4 in that time!

But yes, hopefully the one that appears on screen will be more tasteful. My favourites of the Craig era have been the Skyfall AT and the Spectre 300.

I guarantee you this one happened because someone said "Oh man, the NATO straps look like ribbon bars! Let's make one around this! We can call it something military..."

I don't like where Omega is going in last few years. :(

It's worrying. I have a lot of respect for them and the first 'expensive' watches I ever loved and owned were Omega (still going strong). But I have my concerns too. A lot of history, a lot of heritage, a lot of capability and clout. Just a loss of direction. Let's hope they find a better way before doing themselves too much damage.

Yup, exactly! My first expensive watch was also Omega, a Bond SMP and I love it. The other one is old franken PO. I even don't like CrPO's because of their thickness but they are still nice watches and keep Omega DNA.

However these colorful pos that they are releasing in last few years are just ridiculous and they all look like cheap toy to me. Someone mentioned AP's. They are doing the same what AP did with Tour Auto 2012 and I just can't understand why.

Yes, it's the lack of dignity (for want of a better expression) that gets me. If you make watches that look cheap and silly then you are - of course - making your brand look cheap and silly. All subjective of course, but - as with this Commander watch - some of them are overwhelming mis-steps, and a sure push downhill.

Yes some of these watches have gotten ugly. The colorful po reminds me of the bright colored AP chronographs. Look like belong to the power rangers or maybe BackStreet Boys lol

If Bond was real, he would wear a Breitling, no doubt. No more Rolex's or Omegas. And no Navitimers either.

Hmmmmm. I think Breitling is too blingy for Bond. Call me old fashioned, but the guy needs a Submariner. DC is a hefty guy, so I'd put him in the new SD43. Ok, I know that boat has sailed...

I really don't like this commander watch, it looks a right sodding mess. I think it's not a good match to DC and I don't think it's a good match to Bond. Omega really need to pare back the whole 007 thing, and definitely pare back their limited editions.

They should focus on one 'iconic' watch for the character - by which I mean DC Bond - and market the shit out of it. Right now no one knows what the hell a Bond watch is. Some kind of PO would be more appropriate I say...

What do I know. I'm just some schmuck browsing a replica forum while eating my cornflakes.

Let's face it, with the state of the UK government cutbacks, Bond would be not be provided with any luxury Swiss watch in reality. He'd have to be on here looking for tips to get his own rep.

In my opinion, Omega is releasing too many models in too many colors. I hope they pause the plastic toy-looking POs, and all the X-side of the Moon-things. However, the 1957 Anniversary Trilogy is a positive turn, and I would love a re-issue of the vintage Seamaster 300, with lumed bezel :

But if Bond wears this in the next instalment, we will see their value go up much like the SM300.
