Very nice 114E. Your idea really inspires me. Because of this, I also plan to build one soon for 114H. Will post when it is done.

Please do! I think the polished CG from Angus' 111E is maybe a little better. Perhaps I should get the CG from DSN's 111H and just have vac polish it?

I'll wait until I get the watch in my hands to make that decision...

...What Strap are you thinking of putting on it ?

The great thing about the white dial PAMs is that ANY strap will "go" with the watch, IMO. At the moment I have an MP Private Stock in cognac, a brown Toscana sharkskin, a Don Ginsler black buffalo and a Toscana carbon fiber strap that are all homeless at the moment. I think I'll start with the Toscana sharkie...

Nice one, the dial is yet another iteration of DSN PAM010/114 dial, this must be the very lates one as it's slightly different (again). The cardinal numerals are now thinner and numbers 6 & 9 loop is slightly more open now. Also, the font used for 'Panerai' is tad higher than 'Luminor'.

Nevertheless, awesome watch, that ultimate E-series mov't and one-of-a kind E-series caseback pay for themselves.

You're right, white dial watches fit leather straps of almost any color!
