Hello Dear Community,

I bought 2 watch’s lastly from Ctime. Their scam is very well organised, they give you a list of option to choose, promise u a good work in time and then they send you a very bad watch.

I bought a clean Pepsi with this :

- pepsi from Clean $598
- waterproof upgrade $48
- fix pinion cap 88$
- slightly polish the watch 188$
-deep crystal $108
-shipping $40

The watch that arrived was horrible, one link open so the watch opened directly, bezel is horrible not working and crystal is poor quality and i even doubt if it’s clean + the watch is terribly dirty with grease everywhere.

So when i begin to ask CTime what is this ? He told me that first pinion cap is not visible. Second limit he told me that I am lying. Third he stop answering. Please just be aware they will promise things it’s horrible work… I feel dumb because I ask him at one moment of the process to send me 1 or 2 pics of the mods process, he answered me very badly No that it’s not possible and modder don’t have time…a picture it’s only 1 or 2 sec once u have paid it’s too late. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I still shake my head at these folks paying that much for "water proofing"
I'm with you.

Aside: I've been wanting to ask Ctime if they ever test beyond a 3ATM/3BAR, after a noob had been squawking that they'd paid extra for this 'water proofing' service but only had had the watch tested to pass 3atm as a standard and not tested beyond it.

I hadn't even noticed the price attached to a polishing job at first glance!

I've owned one of those pressure testing machines for the past decade and it was a great investment. I test my watches I do want to get wet to 5 bar, and it really gives you peace of mind. They are under $100, and worth it if you want to take a questionable watch swimming.

Additionally, if OP is suspect of the watch being a clean factory, feel free to post the serial on the rehault and bracelet code, and I am check to see, but frankly, that grease in the bezel tells me all I need to know.

And the fact that CTime is a trusted vendor.

It is quite possible the modder did him dirty, as I've never had experience having a TD send my watch out for additional services.

Tell me, why should CTime be held responsible for the work of a third-party?

Now I'm in doubt on having sent my money to Ctime 🤔 would it be best to just get the watch without waterproof treatment just as is from the factory then?

Ctime is a trusted dealer for a reason. As far as the adds, you need educate yourself and see what's worth doing. Personally I would never get any upgrades. I rather see the watch in hand and decide what I need on my own.

Well first because I paid him directly and maybe because he advertise here for the mods with beautiful pics … Of course he is responsible of the modders and the work he promise to his clients…
