It's pretty crazy.

Instructions: 1. Stare at the red dot on the girl’s nose for 30 seconds. 2. Turn your eyes to a plain surface (your ceiling or blank wall). 3. Blink repeatedly and quickly. 4. WTF!

Basically the image is harsh on your eyes, and your eyes are trying to prevent damage to themselves by adjusting their own colour when staring at that picture.

Also the same thing works when you pretty much stare at anything for a long time, but the "sharper" the object the better, in terms of colour that is. Like a black picture on a white wall. Same will happen, your eyes don't like the colour transition.


btw, I am no eye doctor, I am just assuming this.
