Couple of straps....

I ve been working with leather long time ago but I ve never hand stitched anything in my life so this was quite of experience for me. Like everybody else here I hate those straps that are coming with the watches so I’ve decided to play around with the hides .I still have most of the tools needed for leather but Tendy visit was necessary for couple of hole punches. I must say that I had problems with the stitching part but those tutorials from kidge007, beben,frogman,total and everybody else help me a lot easier so after couple of months of mistakes I think i made couple of ok straps

My favorite so far- from buffalo leather (something softest on this world )

Thanks a lot everybody,
I`m trying diferent kings of hides and I realy enjoy working with leather again and in the next couple of weeks I would send some of my straps to some of the mods of rwi since this community give me so much I would like to return the favor so they could organise a raffle and give them away (since I was lucky enough to won 2 of them ,it`s time for me to do something in return and this is the least I can do)

A couple years ago, I think there may have been a couple strap makers who listed their work on forums like Risti... Today, there are dozens and dozens of strap makers, and ALOT of do-it-yourselfers who have become quite good at the art of strap making!

I`ve been busy over the weekend trying some new hides and new kind of shapes for different watches so couple of more straps with pictures……

My new B&R strap inspired by farquar I love his straps….
I have 6 different hides already cut for my B&R BR 01 Phantom,only one is done so far, that rubber replica strap is just terrible ….
