Country specific sub forums in the sales section

Is there a possibilty to separate out the sales section? I personally spend quite a bit of time searching for [UK] in the thread titles; it would be great to have a UK / EU / CONUS / WW sub forums to make it easier.

While considering all of the turmoil recently with international shipping into US, I have thought about this myself as I would rather purchase something already present here in the US versus shipping from overseas. Of cours there's always caveats, including where it's shipping from and if I trust the member to handle the customs form correctly.. I don't think having separate subforms would be the answer as that's much more territory for the moderators to police. Perhaps a flag could be added for the title?

I for one would miss the roller coaster of emotional turmoil when I realise that the watch that I was looking for for ages is at the right price and only a few weeks of eating toast for every meal to pay for it is just a few clicks away only to find the seller won't ship to my region!

I think a flag on the title would be good - then at least at first glance you can see the item location/where it can be shipped to.

I hate it too, but I think this would create a bit more work for the mods and complicate things for them a bit, at least if everything is still in one place, but flagged as: (UK - Ship WW) or (CONUS -Ship CONUS) for example - would be a great idea!

I see what you're saying. I can only speak for myself but I'd prefer country specific subforums, I would never buy from CONUS, or WW, I'd strictly stick to UK and I know there are CONUS folks who prefer to stick to CONUS watches.

Would be interested to hear from the admins on this subject.

That would be a mess for us moderators.

Sellers can always write [CONUS] [EU] [UK] etc on the thread title.

Can you not add a mandatory drop down field then where the seller chooses the location? so it's on all sale threads, not relying on members manually adding it to the title.

Sorry, used to run forums myself so just trying to think of some logical solutions to suit all.

I think that would definitely be easier for the staff to implement than separate subfora - possibly more complicated but if there was a way to filter them by location/ship-to destinations when viewing would be even better, then you would only see the ads that are available to you? Appreciate that could be a nightmare to incorporate in the back-end of the forum but just a thought!
