That should work, Rocket. In fact it appears the lugs on the Helenarou case extend downwards farther than the case 4th from the right. That actually works to your favor, as you can shorten the amount they extend down and at the same time the lug holes will appear to be in a more appropriate location... Win, win!

THe only problem with that would be that the bottom area of the lugs will than appear too flat once you take the extra "meat". Give it a try, why not?

I had helenarou case and returned it to Helen, as the xtal wasn't sapphire as advertised, but mineral glass and the thickness was 1mm thinner than gen and standard rep glass. Also, the case corners were too flat, and didn't have a classic PAM corner curvature that should visually follow onto the lug curvature.

Actually its relatively quick and simple. A few minutes using a greased 25mm belt sander gets the shape down and then it's smoothed on a stitched mop with cutting compound before final finishing as normal.
The couple of cases I started this thread with started out the same as that one, but I think I lost too much of the 'square' look by trying to keep the hole well away from the edge and not wanting to create too large a flat bottom section.
Now I need to find an alternate source :evil: , now they have been pulled from the 'Bay, to get some more to play with and try to refine the reshaping :twisted:
