By proceeding with this listing, I fully release, discharge and forever hold harmless RWI, its owners, agents, administrators, employees and staff, and I release them from any and all responsibility and liability for any and all claims, costs, expenses, actions, demands, or damages related to the buying or selling of products and/or services offered in this listing. By entering into and continuing with this transaction, I acknowledge that I am proceeding with this sale voluntarily and at my own risk, and that I have read the foregoing and fully understand the nature, extent, effect and consequences of its contents.
Upon arrival, I discovered that it had several plating issues that the seller honestly missed (he's a standup guy). In spite of all this, I decided to keep it anyway and the seller was generous enough to refund me $125. Also upon his suggestion, I used a low-abrasion jewelry cloth to gently polish the watch and it did a pretty good job but the ugly spots are still there if you look for them. Its really not all that noticeable on the wrist anymore (please review the wristshot pics).
The ugly spots are on the ends of the lugs and on one side of the case back. Also there is a nick on the clasp with steel showing through. Please carefully review all the pics. The issues are hard to spot and thus were hard to capture in the photos, but they're definitely there. I recently had similar issues on a stock plated Clean Daytona and I was actually able to remove them entirely using Cape Cod cloth, which I had feared would be too aggressive but it worked with no damage to the plating. I can't guarantee the same will work on this piece though.
Besides the plating ugly spots, there are a few tiny scuffs and marks on the side of the case and on the clasp. Nothing deep.
The watch came with E + F Oysterflex plus an additional E and an uncut style band which I cut trying to get the right size, which makes it probably around an F or G size now. Also included in the package was a rose gold clasp which doesn't go with this watch so I'm not sure why it was included, but I'm including it for completion's sake.
Bought for $730, was refunded $125, so I'm asking $600 plus $10 for USPS shipping. Paypal F&F or Zelle. CONUS only please.
