Gentlemen and Ladies of the Rolex forum.

As you can see there are changes afoot in the stickies section. I am compiling a WIKI of all the major Rolex models (including Tudor). This is broken down into sections and rather than being a copy/paste of all the information I can find, it is a home for links to threads and sites that I feel are useful to have easy access to. We all know how the search function fails us when looking for the short acronyms that we use, TC, WM9, BK etc. So instead of having to trawl through hundreds of threads for the information, we gather as many useful links as we can and collect them here.

This is a massive undertaking. I am slowly covering the models currently available through Rolex and considered the modern issue Rolex. This doesn't of course include discontinued pieces, vintage pieces or any of the variations that we see in the replica world.

So what do I need from you? Well take a look at the list of sections I will be creating over the coming months.

Every single one of these sections needs fleshed out with pertinent links. As I open new threads I will take submissions. Here's the rules of the competition.

1. Anyone can contribute to the WIKI pages
2. Every significant contribution gets a credit at the bottom of the WIKI page
3. There are 9 sections for you to contribute to
4. Send me your bookmarks to useful threads / web pages / sources of information
5. Or create a useful thread on RWI and send me the link to it
6. For every significant contribution to a WIKI page you get 1 entry ticket
7. Maximum 4 'tickets' per person / 1 per WIKI page
8. Once the WIKI is complete we will draw against the California lottery as per the ususal forum raffles

What do you win? A vintage 6538 James Bond Submariner 6538 modded by myself. This will be a full vintage work similar to this piece here:

I will use this thread to track contributions and participation to the WIKI threads. I will also use this thread to announce the opening of new sections for contributions. This is not going to be a short process. This will take a few months to complete depending on how many people help out, and of course how much time I can devote to the project as well. But I am determined to see this through to the end.

Can we still provide these to you to see if you want to incorporate them into your finished page? I've got a million Rolex links bookmarked that cover a variety of topics and some could still be beneficial.

I'll only accept links and contributions for threads already open, otherwise it will get too confusing. This is not going to be an overnight task. Have a look through the threads already there and if you consider something work contributing then please let me know.

As a bit of clarification. Posting me a link to a thread that has 3 out of shot blurry photos and a single sentence does not count as a significant contribution. I'm talking about comparisons, reviews, eyecandy threads. Get your cameras out and post up some new threads on stuff you already have or want or are researching.

Bonesey, just to confirm are these rep only threads or can these be gen research threads to be used during comparison researching? I ask because my bookmarks are all gen specific. Basically websites and authors who are laser focused on specific details. Maybe I'll just sort through it and PM you offline if any of it could be useful to you.

Rep and Gen mate. If you read through the Daytona/Yacht master thread you can see that I've tried to take the gen watches and then find the rep counterpart. I'm not dealing with fantasy pieces just the rep/gen counterparts.

But yeah, I'll take genuine websites as well of course. Anything that is useful to us to have.
