Compulsive mail checking...

I ordered a iwc gst from belial2k right before he closed up shop in January. It was originally supposed to be 2 weeks til dellivery but with his customs woes and then with the watch going for minor repairs to his watchsmith it's going on 3 months now. You would think after 3 months I wouldn't rush home each day to check the mail but doesn't seem to be the case.

Just wondered if anyone else is in the same boat with belial. He seems to be a standup guy and I appreciate his dedication with all the troubles he's had. I've wanted a gst ti for a long time so I hope it lives up to the anticipation!

Haha I urge new guys not to check tracking and run to the mail box everyday being the seasoned rep buyer now blah blah blah patience is a staple in our hobby blah blah blah. LMAO I check tracking and the mailbox about 30x a day when I'm waiting on a new one. How pathetic am I?

I've contacted him via pm every few weeks and he says that parts are on backorder and hopefully will be in soon. Haven't checked in since late March but didn't want to bug him. I hope everything is okay! :shock:

You guys think something might be wrong? I always try not to jump to conclusions like many people do. I hadn't heard of anybody else getting screwed with belial so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

This came up with a rep conversation and an interesting was asked....

If you check the tracking on USPS every 5 min on a package comineg from abroad, does this send up any kind of red flags with customs? Is it any kind of tip off to watch other deliveries from that person?

Thanks Yllwtrb for the vote of confidence. When I started this post I didn't mean to doubt belial. Just meant to say that a 3 month wait is killer since I usually have problems waiting even 1 week for a watch! Glad to hear I'm not the only one in this situation. It's too bad belial had the customs problems. He offered a good service to us CONUS guys.
