I'm currently planning to build a THB Day-Date 40 and I’ve come across a genuine rose gold fluted bezel from a 126331 (Datejust 41 RG two-tone).
I’ve read conflicting opinions regarding compatibility between the 126331 bezel and the 228235 (DD40 full RG) case.
My goal is to install the 126331 bezel onto a THB DD40 build. Two watchmakers I reached out to said the bezels are the same size and should be compatible. However, two others said they’re not interchangeable due to slight differences in case geometry.
Before I pull the trigger on the bezel, I wanted to ask if anyone here has tested this combo or knows for sure whether the bezels are retro-compatible between these two models?
