This is brilliant. Thanks so much @PhilippPzy for the write up and the video. A YM is on my hitlist in the new year, so this has helped solidify my choice (y)

I have the Clean with Gen Crystal and TomRep Bezel mod - I think I can live with that. Thanks for the write up :)
I really wish clean would bring out the Platinum dial version - I really crave for that one.,
How do I get hold of tomrep? I’m after having the mod done too

Thanks, nice write up. I have the Clean and VSF. The only real world difference I can find is that the edges of the case and bracelet are a bit sharper on the Clean. VSF feels more rounded. Still, not sharp enough to cause any discomfort, it's just that I notice it.

I've got the same one and am thoroughly impressed by it 👌🏼
I’ve got a noob 116622 rhodium, Tomrep bezel mod and prof crystal. Bezel came off and I’ve somehow misplaced it (don’t ask! 🙄). Tomrep has now retired so I’m thinking of replacing it with a 126622. Do I get a clean 126622 and try switching crystals? Or just get a clean? Or trust the sellers who are all saying get a VSF?? Any advice would be great
Comparison Rolex Yacht-Master 40 126622 Genuine vs VSF vs CLEAN

Basically, both watches are super replicas and no mods are required as with the noob or ARF for the 116622.

Left VSF, Middle GEN, Right CLEAN

Haptic bezel:

Winner is definitely Clean. The bezel engages cleanly, is not as loose as on the VSF and has hardly any play. The feel is almost like the original.

Haptics of the bracelet and clasp:

Both bracelets are really good. However, the feel of the Easy-Link fine adjustment on the VSF is more like the real thing and clicks into place with high quality. With the CLEAN, it doesn't click into place as robustly.

The safety bar has more play at the top and bottom on the CLEAN than on the VSF.

There is also some play between the left and right parts of the buckle on the Clean. On the VSF and GEN it is completely fixed.

Haptics of the movement:

Winding feels the best on the CLEAN. It seems to be more oiled. However, the date adjustment is much worse on the VR3235 than on the VS3235. It is looser to turn and doesn't look particularly high quality. When you set the time on the VR3235. Friction is noticeable.

Date:

The quality of the print on the CLEAN and VSF is superb. However, the date is not centered on the CLEAN. The black-hole effect is great on both. Nevertheless, the VSF glass wins.

VSF:

Bezel:

Both are very well made. Nevertheless, the structure of the CLEAN looks more like gen.

The numbers are too high on both versions. Clean's numbers are also slightly too large

Hands:

VSF is definitely the winner. The dot on the second hand is the right size. It is too small on Clean & the lume looks to white There is hardly any difference in color.

Rehaut: As far as the surface is concerned, Clean wins. The finish is similar to gen. However, the engravings on CLEAN are slightly too small. Both serial numbers are not centered between the indexes.

Conclusion:

Both watches are great but OOTB I would recommend VSF as the movement and crystal is better. On the other hand, the bezel play on the CLEAN is much better.

Many thanks for reading!

I'm new to all of this, so take my answer with a huge helping of salt, but I posted pictures of my CF on a different forum and everyone was surprised by the look ootb. Unless you are legit trying to fool people, or anyone is looking at your watch closer than a meter away, no one is going to look at it and go, "Gee, that crystal doesn't look insanely clear." I'll add a few pics. Whether any of that helps or not, up to you...

Yours looks fantastic. My clean yachtmaster came in just today, and maybe mine has an older crystal or something but the dial looks very washed out from some angles. Debating if I should upgrade the crystal at a later point, or just get a vsf instead.
