Hi All,

I have been doing extensive research on completing the ultimate 5711 build. See below summary and please correct/ add where I may have misinterpreted.

1. Case/Bezel

  • Base: The current 3KF case is highly recommended due to its accurate dimensions.
  • Modifications: Reshape the bezel and bevels to closely match the original 5711's profile.
2. Crown

  • Adjustments: Ensure the length and shape of the crown are spot on for a perfect fit.
3. Bracelet

  • Refinement: Sharpen the bevels and ensure there's no gap between the first link and the case for a seamless look.
4. Dial

  • Choice: The PPF V4 dial is a great option.
  • Modifications: Reshape the hour markers and apply a white gold treatment. For the ultimate authenticity, a genuine dial would be ideal.
5. Hands

  • Selection: BUFF hands are known for their quality and dimensions.
  • Enhancements: Some refinishing may be required to perfect the look.
6. Movement

  • Base: Start with the Caliber 26-330 S C, the upgraded movement used in the latest 5711 models.
  • Gyromax Balance: Incorporate this for improved precision and stability.
  • Spiromax Balance Spring: Use this to enhance longevity and performance.

But the custom CNC cases usually come with CNC bracelets too, they taper differently and are slightly thinner than the factory produced versions from experience
not sure, my CNC build did not come with a cnc bracelet

You haven't specified which color dial you are looking to build but I'd switch out the dial for SW or Buff dial, also not sure quite sure what you are referring to with the movement unless you are looking at gen. There is no rep 330 movement. There is a standard 324 clone movement, PPM 324 movement with the engraved plates or the 324 ACE Movement with free sprung balance.

Thanks for your input. FYI I am looking to build the white dial.

I was way off with movements. Would the PPM 324 be the best option?

Does PPM engraved movement compromise stability or longevity?

Also, are there different versions of the CNC mid-case? I’m considering a build from Hillbilly but want to ensure it’s the best version of the CNC mid case.

watch was delivered last night. Really impressed with the finishing. White dial is CNC with all the improvements listed above. It's noticeably improved over my stock factory 5711 grey dial. This new white CNC 5711 is on the wrist for the rest of the week.

Love the watch. I was also talking to a few modders about doing a white dial built. Many go for the Blue or Green dial but you are one of the few with the white dial out there.
1) Can I ask you to share who did your mods for you and the cost? You can PM me and that will be fully appreciated.
2) Between going for the CNC case and just using the stock case, do you think the extra money (I was quoted 4000 RNB) is worth it? I have heard others say they just reshaped the existing 3KF case. Off course it is going to be 1MM thicker but also close to 500 CDN$ cheaper.
3) What will you do different if anything? Last I had a stock 3KF blue dial that I sold to someone at work. Never wore it much cause I found the bracelet always rough on my skin and the edges were sharp. It almost cut my hand a few times it felt. Is the new watch you got, w a CNC Case, has the bracelet also corrected? Do they polish and hone the edges or is it a net new bracelet you got?

The modder named "Hillbilly" has these for sale on his telegram page. Anyone have experience with Hillbilly and/or his CNC cases?
How do you get a hold of this person? Would love to buy one already made.
