Received a newer model Clean V3 Pepsi from a non TD vendor, before I found RWI....
No matter how much I wound it, till my fingers fell off, wore it right after it simply had no power reserve at all, it would just stop running randomly, and at times when picked up and would start running again .....
Positively something wrong with it, I did return it to vendor and receive a full refund. This vendor has a Utah, US return center, so that worked out well.

So the million dollar question is if this is common or a one off? Damaged during shipping? Anyone else experienced this? I do own numerous gen Omegas so familiar with getting power reserve up and maintaining it.

To add to my dilemma, I just contacted a high rated and well used TD on here and asked specifically 3 times if they had this problem with their Clear GMT V3 pieces, and would not answer, just saying they need to be wound 60/70 times, never answering if they have seen this issue much......
I was ready to order a Pepsi and Batman from them, not so sure now.

Open to any advice on this, other brands for GMT's?
No, I am not buying a gen guys!
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to RWI. I think sadly using a non-TD may be a contributing factor to this, though equally the movement may have been damaged during shipping so I’m glad you got a refund. Though note that serial of L6V6 is primarily used by ARF (Clean did use L6V6 but the font of the 6s were incorrect and not as shown). These days Clean use Y2L3 and more recently Y2L6, so be weary of this non-TD if you do use them again.

As for TDs here, remember that TDs don’t make the watches they just source them. Which is probably why the TD is giving you generic advice of winding. They can’t really know how long a rep is going to last as each rep is different, regardless if they come from the same factory. But they will show you it working during the QC process and work with you in the unlikely event of something going wrong. Good luck!

@Snooky Is spot on here.
From my understanding the L6V6 case (serial) was used by Clean in earlier production, So This could be one thats been lying around or anything relally!, you really cant be sure. Your lucky for a full refund, as many who use non TDs are not.
