Based on the many photos that I've seen of this reference from CF, I have to agree that the yellow is too cheddary, too fake looking. At first I didn't think it looked bad at all. But now that I've seen dozens of photos I have to say that it's too yellow.

And I'm surprised because other gold references by CF are pretty good. But this one is off a little.

I've already had mine sent and its currently on its way back from Flandad.

I just looked at it with the wrapping and all intact and made the decision to have it sent after 3 weeks of delibiration.

Just couldnt stand the hue of the gold and didnt even unwrap it and just looked at the still exposed parts that wasnt covered.

It was bad. Sadly

Buonasera amici , condivido con voi alcune foto, fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate. Per ora è stato solo placcato di nuovo , presto verrà sostituito vetro e data . Anche se devo dire che il vetro non è male .

Did they fix the gold colour? It seems so on latest QC pictures of this watch?
Anyone has an idea?

Nope, no confirmed updates. Doubt it.

This is the thing about gold plating and photographs, literal every miniscule factor can affect it, sunlight, shadows, angles, color grading, even your phone camera. So everyone's photos look different.

Looks like a stainless version will release at WoW tomorrow. Hopefully a quick turnaround for clean as bezel looks the same

SO who is best to use for this plating fix? I like a TT jubilee but Ive just not sure If its too bling for me having been stainless or white gold fo years. Also if palting is re-done is this over the top of the factory plating? and woul dthis caus an issue on the side of the midlinks as far as wear/rubbing goes as the thicker it gets the less paly there wil be, and has anyone that has had it done know if the braclet is take apart so the mid links are fully plated. Also does this effect the colour difference between the insert number colour looking more yellow if the other palting is toned down to a lighter shade? Some of the image of the Clean model look pretty good but as has already been discussed it does depend on the lighting and how the camera being used is either filtered etc.... I here Flandad is supposed to the don of plating, is he a member on here? I had a quick look but did see anything or maybe i need to try a bit harder!

I just can't get over the bezel rotation myself. It's just too bad.
How do you mean? Clean are known for over greasing the underside of the bezels a quick pop off and clean up soon sorts that out even for a novice.
