Nice response from CLEAN in updating the hands to the new 40mm sizes.

Previously CLEAN had just carried over the hands from the 214270 mk2 Explorer.

Thanks for this. I own and love the Clean 36mm and 39mm Explorers, now I have to decide if the 40mm is a better rep than the 39mm.

Of course, at this point, owning (3) $500 reps or just taking the plunge on a used gen for ~$5000 become a consideration, lol.

Awesome!
Do i finally see a proper double-engraved rehaut? Only about ten years after Rolex stopped doing that, but hey - it looks nice 🎉

Can you do a comparison with the new VSF 224270 with the correct-sized crown?

If the provanance of owning the gen is more than having a variety of watches, then get the gen!

Also imho I think my philosphy now is I only buy gens of watches that are poorly replicated or no rep. Precious metal, grand seiko, speedmaster, etc. These steel 3 hander Rolexes are at the top of the NWBIG list imho.

Personally after having experienced 50+ replicas, I know I am not a 1-3 watch guy. Call it undisciplined call it consumerism but I prefer having a variety. One day I'm feeling my 36mm Clean Explorer, the other my Seadweller 43, one day I feel dressy so 5712, some days I feel lazy so it's my BP 214720.

Go with the one with a better price. Both factories look the same to me 😂
Meh, prices are more or less the same :) I've had better experience with VSF so far, except for the Daytona, Clean takes the cake for that.

I think I've read somewhere that the movement in the VSF is superior, is that the case?

I had the VSF ordered some time ago, but SELs were all over the place and the triangle marker at 12 was misaligned like a bastard, so I decided to go for another watch.

I don't feel like taking one for the team, so I'll sit and wait, nice and cozy for first early adopter pics 👀😬😁
