Clean fixed the muddy dial!

I just received a brand new GMT II Pepsi and my my, does it look good. Next to my gen, there's barely any difference to discern. That said, I did upgrade with Deep crystal.

What really surprised me though, was the dial movement! I have another Clean GMT ii and on that model, the movement is super muddy and gritty. This one is pretty much like gen! Smooth like butter, soft clicks, but palpable. Is this a known fix, or was this the result of changing the crystal, you think?

I am very impressed.

That's a normal v3.

Idk wtf you're talking about.
Did I somewhere say that it wasn't a "normal V3"? I merely said;

- that APPARENTLY they fixed the muddy dial, because this one turns as smoothly as my gen, while the other Clean I have is gritty and muddy - like all Cleans, from what I've read
- and that it might be because I had them put a clean crystal inside

What muddy dial? Why would the dial turn?

Are you saying the movement is smooth?
Wtf does the crystal have to do with the movement?

Are you using ShatGPT to translate?

Half the world's oil reserves are stored in the Clean GMT bezels, everyone knows this. Has Cleans stopped doing this?
Haha, they either did OR Ctime cleaned it up when they removed the bezel to put in the Deep crystal.

Could that explain it?

It would be against the nature to do this. Some forum members from here made significant work for CTime so they could communicate to CLEAN how tonimprove bezel works.

They've never fixed this. Look, in their eyes, it's easier so slop a ungodly amount of grease in to make the bezel function.

I don't blame them. Under grease the bezel and it becomes too stiff making it non functional.

Yes they could diligently apply the correct amount of grease in the correct spots but probably would take too long for a rep factory with no QC standards lol.

Comes down to cost labor and time.

And @OP, this is nothing new. Clean's new GMT with the DD3285 has had excellent crystals and it has been stated many times. But too much misinformation and reddit soup is floating out there. Many members have stated a crystal swap isn't necessary on these Clean GMTs.
