Do you notice some difference in gray insert color between ARF and clean? From your pictures seems almost the same

I inspected the root beer from arf (heavy version) and the rehaut polishing is next level.

Just received this watch, weighed in at 176g, all the additional weight is in the case, the case back is just steel and links and buckle are standard weight, it’s still a little heavier than Gen. overall pretty impressive

It's not a straight swap unfortunatley. I've tried.

Ideally I’d swap the DD3285 into the ARF along with the meteorite dial and call it a day, lol.

I now have both to compare and post pics of side by side. Unfortunately the CF is with a buff meteorite dial but I have the original dial I can post pics of. It’s not really any different from ARF’s from what I can tell.
I have to say that the winding feel of the DD3285 on the clean is superior, but the rehaut and insert on the ARF are better. Thoughts?

I want to turn my Batman into a Bruce Wayne. Would you choose ARF insert/hands over Clean?

I believe ARF use the CF Bezels on their GMT's as well as the bracelet and case. You can generally buy them off a TD plus you can locate them on Alie express for a premium.

In what ways is the ARF insert better to your eye? Are the color of the two inserts noticeably different in person?

Probably not necessary. Why don't you buy it first and then see how you feel about the crystal?

ARF vs Clean is a new debate. I think the consensus is that ARF looks a little better aesthetically but lacks the DD3285 which is objectively the superior movement. So do you want movement that is reliable and very proven? Or aesthetics with a slightly worse SH3285?

I think the case is the same but the rehaut finishing is a bit better, it's very well polished. The bezel "tooth" rings outside of the watch is also slightly different.

The crystal is "mildly" improved (although I would more like to say this is probably that stupid "Clean crystals are bad" myth).

Not this particular model but I have heard OOTB plating color mentioned as superior. Specifically on the rose gold versions.
