I now have both to compare and post pics of side by side. Unfortunately the CF is with a buff meteorite dial but I have the original dial I can post pics of. It’s not really any different from ARF’s from what I can tell.
I have to say that the winding feel of the DD3285 on the clean is superior, but the rehaut and insert on the ARF are better. Thoughts?

The arf came on a jubilee bracelet, I’ll swap out the Everest band for it tomorrow

The clean definitely feels a lot easier to turn than the ARF. Is it better to have it harder to turn? The arf takes a lot more effort to twist

Awesome thread been wondering about the two GMTs from both factories and read a few threads comparing the two. I have a Clean Bruce also and was curious after I got mine.

The crown looks longer and better grooved on the ARF. Can you also share more photos comparing them?

I inspected the root beer from arf (heavy version) and the rehaut polishing is next level.

There are many distributors for Buff dials so just look around. I don’t know if I can mention them but a TD that has buff and SW dials is Steve at theonewatches and also chazingtime has aftermarket dials and parts.

There used to be issues with SH movements in the past but these latest iterations have all been rock solid
Still, the best part about the CF is the DD3285. That’s a gem of a movement
