On Gens, yes. My CF should arrive shortly and I’ll see how it holds up. Had my Gen Sub for 2 years and hasn’t faded. Dirt Cleans right off and it’s as bright as new

Yes, just dirt. My theory is that replicas show the dirt much quicker because whatever material they apply to paint the bezel insert is not as smooth as Gen, therefore, the dirt sticks to it. The platinum applied on Gen is nice and smooth and the dirt doesn’t stick to it as much. Sorry for the double post, thought it didn’t go through

Just received Clean Sub. I can confirm it’s not the updated case/CGs. Seems like most, if not all 40mm subs are back to the old case.

What initially sold me on the Clean Submariner was the rehaut. IMO it’s the best out of the bunch. None can’t get it as shiny and crisp like Clean does. The rest … that’s you and your luck if you get a good one
Another thing to take in consideration before buying if it bothers you. There’s a chance tu might get a green lume PIP as opposed to blue like the rest of the markers. Come on Clean, get your act together!

I have hulk clean and hulk VSF ,, Clean is by far better in every single way except crystal and i think maybe in movement... but VR is fine so i change crystal with Gen and its by far better than VSF i can post pictures to see how the green dial looks its closest dial i think better than zf hands are 3d this is clean with gen crystal

Interesting.. I guess I got a lemon with many defects. Really not impressed with I got. Already sold mine For very cheap after a day of ownership. I basically wrote it off. Not sure if I’ll risk getting another one from Clean. It’s their inconsistency in quality that really puts me off. If they were a little more transparent and when they update something they leave it at that and not trick you into thinking you’re getting an improved version, only to find out that you got the old stock that you weren’t interested in, in the first place.
