For me, the text on mine looks pretty good. The downside are the thick subdials. Hopefully this CF is thinner. Fingers crossed

Until we see an actual QC pic, is just guessing.

Noob dials was never any good (Some worse then others) And ARF dials, well you have to be VERY lucky to find one that's correct (And even then it still have a major flaw)

This release from CF looks promising, and definitely going to fill the demand that's been building up since the raids.

Either way, it cant really get any worse then before the raids The only thing worth using on a Noob was the case, crystal and movement. So as long as CF just improves one thing, its already a better watch then the Noob ever was

What the major flaw in the ARF in your opinion?

Prediction: once images of the CF case are released, the community will facture into a holy war over the CF case being good, acceptable, or irredeemably flawed.

Rational: this community never agrees on anything… hell, we wouldn’t need a forum to discuss things if we all agreed on everything.

Further rational: this community is almost exclusively populated by people who excelled at those “find the 5 differences between these two drawings” kids puzzles books.

5 line text is still bolder then gen

Well that’s a no to all the above

the only easy to spot flaw on the ARF dial is the short line marker at 10, 2 and 6 in the right side subdial

if we talk about the quadrant, the first problem, for me, is the fat or too thin sub-quadrants. it's something that totally ruins a Daytona dial and makes it recognizable. it's a horrible flaw.

It is misunderstanding Buff makes dials too.
I have seen his Meteorite, ice blue and some Daytona dial.
But I never seen Panda.

If the images on this thread are of the clean dial, it's pretty clear the subdials are fatter than gen.

Whether it's something that matters, is personal preference and different debate. But think we should not deny the facts for the sake of providing full info for members to make their own decision. (Not directed at you, just the tone of some members on this thread letting the hype get the better of them).

with these subdials (thickers) you will not see anything more than this flaw. It's about the dial, is there something more important in this model at first sight?

Just wanted to remind that being the best dial on the market and having fatter subdials are NOT mutually exclusive. Both can be true.

The perfect rep (or dial in this case) will NEVER exist. I'm as hyped for this watch as anyone, but let's not kid ourselves and deny straight-up facts, just because we WANT it to be great, for the sake of providing a full picture. Look at the dash to the left of '30' on the right dial, there's a bigger gap to the inner diameter for the (supposed) clean dial meaning it's a fatter subdial.

I agree it's an amazing watch and I'll for sure be getting one.

In terms of caring, the whole ethos of this forum is about providing info.

Not sure about other members here, but personally I prefer to have the FULL picture. Maybe it's a bit OCD, but I still enjoy my reps knowing any minor flaws. It doesn't have to be perfect! And never will be. Instead of burying my head in the sand. Don't know why some members get offended at facts. I find this aspect of this hobby of ours quite fun, chasing the unattainable few percentage points.

What I do agree is it's miles better than the Noob dial, which is a big plus.

As far as I know, these products are not sold in the open market.
Modder has private connection to these parts suppliers and everything done through Wechat.
