By the way, I like how the watch presentation stand says "Made in China". So you are basically telling the truth about the watches (except the Gen parts)

I thank god, I can’t see/appreciate any significant differences between my stock rep and gen....well none that would want me to drop +8k on a rep. But yeh, with the mods you mention, it’ll be indistinguishable even in pics.

It is pure insanity, i agree And not a single soul will be able to tell, besides from me

I have very few reps left, and the ones i rotate with my gens, i just want them to be "perfect", quality over quantity.

This build will keep me satisfied until my gen black dial 116500 comes in And the money put in, should be fairly easy to recuperate, when i wan to sell it again. Prices on parts are sky rocketing at the moment

I’ve seen a couple of youku videos of the 520’s and they look better that way but still the subdials are too thick and out of balance with the rest of the dial.

I've tried to shrink down comparative rep vs orig pics to the actual 1:1 scale 42.8mm dia (incl crown)

I'll know better when it arrives but toggling between the two it does not seem as dramatic a difference as all the exploded pics at 65mm plus

It's all about the internal white dia space as opposed to distances to markers so quite forgiving imho

I guesstimate the subdial width at 2mm or a smidge under, the original at 1mm or a smidge more

I find funny how you complain about 1mm thickness of a subdial.

As a AP fanatic, i live with flaws and instant tell with any AP ROO i wear lol, i would be really happy to have just 1mm diff on my ROO subdial with everything else spot on

Let's hope someone makes one that has the functional 4130, and the Gen Style / ARF style dial with the individual sunbursts on each subdial.

The noob dials only have a single sunburst, from what I can tell. Atrocious issue.
