Clean Daytona 116509 white gold(904L) blue dial comparison with GEN

Hi everyone,

I’m so excited to be back with some new comparisons.

This comparison is about the Daytona 116509 blue sunburst dial. Unfortunately our new photographer didn't capture its beauty. It was a sample dial and was staying outside for some time, there was some rust on it already. It won’t happen to the final release.

As we take a closer look at the dial, I can see there is a little color off, but comparing to what we have in the market, it is very close to gen in my opinion. The sunburst texture is also different from gen that Clean is more shiny and bold(I may post video following in the future).

Other details like markers and dial printing are remaining the clean level as always.

For the bracelet, it’s also 904L as well. And the end links are made of three little pieces together, the side of them are polished.

Thanks as always for these detailed comparisons. But please, tell Clean to change those nasty crowns, it's not permissible to ruin beautiful dials with that ozone hole.

This is truly an amazingly beautiful share, for which I thank you in advance on behalf of myself and everyone who will benefit. Even though Daytona doesn't interest me much, I'm sure this year has a special significance for Daytona and CLEAN has really done a successful job pushing the limits for enthusiasts. Leaving aside the color difference probably due to usage, until I saw the dial details and the placement of the crown within the rehaut, it wasn't very likely for me to distinguish which one is GEN and which one is REP. Again, thank you very much for your effort and informative share.

Clean and these coronet holes lately. I’ll grab a few models if they address this. They do such a great job everywhere else, pretty confusing.

Thank you for the comparison. I still can't believe CF hasn't fixed the coronet on the dial. It's a shame because everything else on the dial looks good.

I think some of these tells/flaws are purposeful. They are like the brand marker.

If you see a Daytona with a coronet with a big hole, you know its from CF.

Same with BTF Daytona subdials etc.

The factories also like to do the version upgrades. V1, V2, etc.

Also the authorities would get very mad if perfect reps were out there. A rep without any tell? Big problems.

Anyway without a gen as reference, good luck finding the rep. Better show to a master like @CTime says.

Awesome comparison. I do think the Clean font on the subdials is still a tad too thin on this one.

the gen subdials look like they have individual sunburst. The clean doesn't. @CTime can you confirm if the clean subdials also have sunburst?

Side by side they're obvious, but under less blue light and more amber hue (I.e. most people's lights inside) stainless can look like WG. So whether it's worth it is definitely debatable.
