this is mine “clean” dial and waiting to install along with gen hands on noob but i paused it a bit ,i want to see clean daytona first

The dial actually looks pretty good, print is nice!
Do you have gen hands in your position? Would love to see how the lume material of these dials compares to the gen hands. The CF lume seems to have that dull pinkish hue still.

I'm delighted to see there is a 116520. I'll need to have a white one of those.

The pessimist in me is thinking about CF can screw this up. The bezel is fixed so there is no bezel issues aside alignment to worry about. The Noob V4 and the latest CF Subs have a white ring around the crystal (for different reasons) so this is something we would maybe see. I don't anticipate any issues with the bracelet. We know the dials are good (?).
This leaves only 3 things where this can drop the ball.
The case: CF usually fuck this up, whether CG's or side profile lug width so I be pleasantly surprised if we get a gen spec case.
The screwing bits: I'd like a nice marriage between the crown/pushers and their tubes with smooth screwing girt free threads.
The movement: no explanation required.

Those SELS looks great!, it’s hard to say with CF. Their sub case had some lug issues but their DJ41 case looked to be quite good. I’d stick with your noob and if the CF proofs to be superior then buy it and swap out the cases. I’ll buy your noob case haha… it’s v4 right?

Im really too impatient to install gen hands now and again replace on another one,
it is v3 bro, they had best sels, fully serviced movement which preforms perfect and arf clasp,cf bezel
i have this clean dial, gen hands and gen chrono wheel and clutch ready to install and now idk what should i do at the moment haha

I’d just install the dial and gen hands on your serviced noob movement it will Be better than cf’s, plus the dial will be the same anyway.
you could just swap the whole setup into a clean case if it’s better. Literally a 5 min job for a watchmaker or yourself if you have the tools.
Decisions decisions haha

Hi bro, similar to you I have a "clean" dial about to be mounted ;-) IMO go for it and do it. If the Clean daytona case was better than the noob, buy yourself one and exchange the movement block (easy task) so you have your serviced movement with "Clean" dial and gen hands anyway

I don't like the lugs on the noob. Instant tell. How the lugs and SEL come together just seems incorrect. It's due to the noob case.

Incorect, the problem is in bracelet end link, sels shape is slightly different on gen, slightly more curve at the end of the link part
lugs, they are little to fat compared to gen when you look at the pictures but that has nothing to do with case
here you can see mine sel fitment

The problem is the case as well brother. The noob case is good but not great.
So let's hope clean comes out with a better case.
It's easier to tell in real life than from pics.

Nearer than you think

Noob rehaut is also a bit taller than gen (and the stock gasket used to be trash), so the proportion and depth of the distance from crystal to dial looks off, let's hope that CF fixed this.

It's a fundamental and often overlooked detail that people who don't have / have never seen a gen daytona fail to catch

I am late t the party here. I was never a “Daytona guy” in the past but I was getting close to ordering one when noon got shut down and have been craving one since.

I’d be interested to see what happens here.

One thing I felt CF didn’t do well in the past was the cyclops found in the Subs in terms of AR coating. This was one reason I did not buy clean in the past. Glad to see this won’t be an issue on the Daytona.

Looking forward to seeing some QC next week.
