Yes, the Asian 7750 clone of the Valjoux 7750 has been modified for sub dial position, but it shouldn't be a huge task to swap the modification over.
I'm assuming the reported unreliability is due to the modification, if so, which factory(s)?

Except that 7750 based chronographs are not the most reliable. So having a working chrono that you can't use is kind of pointless

It's not clear to me if they're using a gen case or not? I hope so as I don't like the lugs of the noob. The fitment of the SEL's to the lugs just isn't good on the noob imo.
So fingers crossed that clean is able to make this like their sub/gmt offerings concerning the lugs/sel's.

Clean will probably just reuse the GMT case for the Daytona, same as they do for their Sub.

Joking aside, Clean don't do gen spec cases, they have fucked up every other case they produced so I wouldn't hold out any hope for a 1:1/gen spec case for a Daytona..

Litterly the only case they got wrong is the sub..

Good to know. Maybe my comments are little harsh. I'm sure we'll get a decent rep, but I'd rather have seen ARF or the return of VSF with a new 4130 Daytona.

I think no modification was needed. They just swapped over to the 7753 movement which has the subdials in the correct positions.

The 7753 has 3, 6 and 9 sub dials, but 6 is hours and 9 is seconds, so there would still have to be a modification to swap 6 and 9 if that's what they're using.

Ordered end of October and currently in transit. Frozen chrono obviously but not an issue for me. Full description “Daytona 116500 ARF 1:1 Best Edition 904L SS Case and Bracelet White Dial A4130 Super Clone V2”

^ This, that's why they froze tte chrono subdials, so that with a 7750 based movement they could achieve gen thickness

You will have the same 7750 with frozen 3+9 subdials just like every other ARF. Not a bad thing, the watch is super reliable and excellent quality. The noob was preferred due to the 100% working chrono, I have one and it is fantastic. Do I use the chrono, no not too often but nice to know I could.
