My speedy is actually better for this, easier to read and no screw down pushers.

But sometimes you just have to!

Funnily enough that is actually one of the reasons I dont like the Daytona, I think the screw down pushers are pointless, still want one though!

The screw down pushers is the trade off for its increased water resistance, definitely makes using the chrono a bit annoying when compared to something like the speedy that is always ready to go.

That's why I got it.
it's not the best watch but it's so goddam pretty .... !

I like the dial that comes in the white gold Daytona. That smoked gray color... hopefully they will come up with that in the future.

The Speedy still has 50m WR if I recall correctly which is more than enough, the idea of someone taking their Daytona diving beyond 50m does tickle me, but at least you know that it can, just in case you need to. And it'll be safe in the shower too.

A 50m WR translates into being able to take swims and cold showers so doesn't cover much for a sport watch :-/

I wouldn't do much else with a rep anyway (bathe, swim), but I'd be checking the caseback is tight beforehand. Most of mine are only ever finger tight from the factory.

These reps are not sport watches, they are not really even built to withstand a year of daily wear. They are for looking at and playing with and wearing now and again for a novelty. That's how I see them, that's how I treat them.

I used to think that these latest reps were similar in quality to genuine watches from respected brand you could buy on the High St. but after seeing that (the link above) I'm in doubt now. It's still a cheap money grab in some (many) respects?

yeah sels are horrible but we already saw better ones,can you picture all 4 sels from different angles please? And i can advise you to try to bend springbars so it pushes sel lower

As far as I saw here and Reddit, CF Daytona has almost same SELs condition.
I hope this will be fixed next batch.
I sometimes order to my dealer without QC haha.

I think they will not fix this because bracelet is from arf and not made by them, can you picture now after yo bent springbars? You need to center bent springbar to push endlink lower,idk if you understand me
dont bend too much because you risk to brake it or damage it
