Probably because none of the current tungsten Daytonas meet their standards. The currently available ones are okay, but leave some details to be desired.

Manufacturing is hard. Making one case is hard. People think you wave a magic wand and suddenly get a tungsten case. Now make 10000 and you have even more issues.

First of all, it's tilted, not crooked, I can't see a curve on that mark. Secondly, it is like 0.1 degrees tilted, not a big deal. But then it's your purchase, you make the call. I think some other members are more than willing to take it from you if you RL this.

Congratulations and thanks aside, I'd like to add that the sunburst is amazing in person and with a little refinishing, the watch is probably the nicest 12 series release to date. These are my own photos of another gentleman's CF.
