Clean 126519 Grey Daytona comparison with GEN

Hi guys


This model came out around the same time as Panda and black ceramic, the mainly differences are dial color and rubber straps. Quality wise is the same as others, the watch case, bezel protector, hands and clasp are well built.

And we have the same old problem from Clean, or say, from all the replicas, the sunburst is not smooth enough. We can still see slightly color off on them too, hope Clean will fix this problem soon.



By the way, I recently heard clean is doing researches of tungsten case for Daytona, they are pushing slow though. The texture of the tungsten is much rougher and hard to polish, plating is also hard to stay on its surface. I can’t wait to see if they finally make it.

clean is going to knock the 12 series daytona out the park. This one is very nice. Now i cant decide between this and the 11 series daytona

The chrono seconds hand was punched off center high, hopefully this is a one-off and not a batch issue.

Fantastic comparison, thanks for posting! I have to say that the rosy hue of the CF ghost dial was disappointing. When I first got my CF 116519LN I thought I had somehow missed it on QC and was shipped a 116515 sundust dial by mistake.

In the first shot CF looks more rosy than gen, but on some of the macros gen is the more rosy of the two so perhaps this is an improved version compared to the 116519LN.

On some shots the sunburst effect looks way more diffuse on gen and too narrow on the CF dial. And somehow the further down I scroll the CF dial looks almost matte/media blasted.

But as you said, CF still has some work to do. RB dials were closer for the 116519 with a more neutral hue of grey.
