I used 9104 oil.
The noise doesn't bother me but I wanted to give it a try.
I don't know what noise the Rolex movement makes.
For the moment, I can't really tell the difference.
but I didn't find the movement particularly noisy before.

Does it look like Clean is already updating the dial to fix the too narrow steel border of the hour indexes? Some early white dial versions had very narrow steel borders enclosing the lume. It looks better on most black dial 126500s I’ve seen and some more recently shipped white dials it also looks like they are using the more gen-like hour indexes.

Regarding the movement, it could well be that the SH4131 is a transitory period to get the first batch of watches out and we will see a true clone later, as was the case for the GMT-Master moving from VR3186 to DD3285.

Great review and clean seem to be on top,
as a matter of interest the AR+ sells with trusty at the same price but I can't find any reviews ?
Looks pretty much on par with clean

Thanks. AR+ is not 1:1 rep, has wrong case, terrible pushers. Save your money. Go for Clean

What thin marker border. I think one person mentioned that and since people think it’s a reason to wait. Just silly. There maybe a micron difference blown up x100. let’s get real, please. We’re splitting hairs here on one of the best reps in recent years. Enjoy it.

Only the first movements shipped without the rotor oil, so Clean will ship the oil on the next order. If you were not offered this by your TD, then yours was oiled at the factory

Great point. Clean is exclusive with DangDong on their DD3285; as VS is exclusive with DD VS3235.

As this new SH4131 clone was developed and improved with Clean and exclusive to them, I’m guessing it’s unlikely they’ll switch back to DD for the 4131.

Unlikely. Typically they make 500 or more of each. So if anything it would be the next batch.

What on the dial would you like to see updated?
