I've fallen in love with this piece ever since I first saw it! My opinions might be a bit biased

Now the diver is significantly less $$ (probably around $300) So my thought process is: get the expensive one now because it's faster to save to 300 vs. 500

Guru said this is alot lighter than the other ROO's because it's titanium so that's something else to take into account if it matters to ya.

Well, that and there's no actual release date for the diver I've been waiting for that as well!! The Chronopassion will definitely divert my attention for now though.

You already are! Lol ! As for the box, the 2nd sample is ready, but because of misunderstanding between me and the factory the inside finishing is wrong. It's carbon fiber... Will post a pic.

Naw.... There's the occasional screw-up but all the ROO's I've gotten and most of them are good out the box! When you get the extra loot just get an e-gear mod from francisco or a full service from domi or 14060 or 16610? works wonders!

From experience everything's been great out the box, the full service is more like using birth control pills when you're already using condoms....extra protection

so why are ap roo still in the 500 range where as excellent full ceramic hubs are down to 250ish

is it becuase of sec at 12?

i dont think construction of a ap is any more tediuos than any other watch

they are all detailied and intricate

Well firstly, your referring to the 'lite' versions of HBB's

A) cheaper parts on it
B) in terms of closeness to get, Hublot reps are behind AP
3) the v1's are priced a lot higher than the ultimate versions of the AP's

Don't get me wrong though, I love Hublots! Just not the V1's prices.
The lites you are comparing aren't up to par with the AP's, IMO

i have a v1.5 ice, and have seen many other hubs, top notch editions and lower ones,

i really thing they are essentially the same build,
i mean seriously, in terms of material, it all comes from the same place...china. and its essentially the same stuff
