I like those "stealing" topics, and since you are so righteous in your cause let me make some quick calculations.

Considering how many comments you have, and the fact that you are a devoted moderator, I will assume that your
1930 messages against 42 mine are proof that you are more devoted and attracted towards luxury contrefeight products at least 45 times more than I'm.

This leads us to 45 times multiplied by my current historical amount of 3 fake watches I had a pleasure to have in my possession. And taking into account that EU taxation is around 20-22% (Google says USA has 0-37% customs tax rate which on average is 20%) therefore you have stolen from your beloved country 45*3*500*0.2 = 13500 Eur or 14500 Usd.

And that 14 grands felony, a state offense, is not even close to the damage you are causing by the counterfeit goods business affiliation itself by moderating this web resource alone.

Congratulations you are a criminal.

Yes Sir, it does, you are a hypocrite.

Nevertheless thank you for your notice, I did not know that people write those messages. Though I have seen the opposite messages, sellers offer a "taxation discount" if you're in/outside UK for some reason, but I haven't paid much attention to those nuances, maybe there's more to it.
Yikes. You have thin skin for a tough guy.

Went into the GS boutique in Paris to "just look around a bit", walked out with this. 😆
Wowww good choice dude. Nothing beats the value of a GS. Is it a spring drive ?

Nah, "only" 9F85... Still, pretty darn expensive at €3500. 🙄

I would have bought a Snowflake, but I'm currently building a house. So I'm on a budget. Sort of. 😂😆

But I actually always wanted a 9F in the collection anyway. The tech behind it is amazing. And it has everything a GS should: the Zaratsu polishing, the iconic 44GS case and the signature GS blade hands.

Also, the champagne sunburst dial is pretty amazing. Appears like a boring silvery-whitish dial at first glance, but fundamentally changes the appearance under different lighting.

But definitely, if I buy another GS in the future, I don't know whether it will be indeed a Snowflake, but it will have to have two things: A structured dial and Spring Drive! 😍

May I recommend the SBGE285 ? It’s a MARVEL.

Also don’t let yourself be intimidated by the diameter of GS watches. They wear WAY smaller than their purported sizes. A 44mm wears and feels smaller than an AP ROO

I actually love the 9F. They are totally flying under the radar. The quartz movements at GS are really otherwordly… personally I am eyeing their SBGX091…

Indeed they are.
How bout this:

@Deviator while I understand the desire to save money on customs duties, I would advise against trying to avoid them. Even if the seller declares a lower value, you have 2 challenges:
  1. The parcel will only be insured for that lower amount, which could be problematic if the watch is damaged or lost during shipping
  2. Furthermore, in my experience, most EU customs officials also use online marketplaces like Chrono24 to determine the fair market value of a watch. So, unless you're importing an obscure brand, they will likely inspect the package and figure out the true value of the watch. (Could even be higher than what you really paid)
In my opinion, it's not worth the risk and hassle to try and avoid customs duties. After all, these are utterly unnecessary luxury purchases - if you really want to save money, just don't buy a watch ;)

WTF? yeah, the clowns are out, f you lot. Every time we order a fake watch (there you go, I said it as well) we avoid taxes, how many 10s of 1000s of euros worth of reps have you bought and how much tax have you paid on them? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Yeah, thought so . . . Now, stop the hypocrisy, we are all petty criminals in the eyes of the law.

Unlike "fake papers guy" this bloke is not giving advice to people that can get them into trouble, he asked a question and got piled on for it. If people didn't like the question a simple "I don't think that's a very good idea" would have sufficed. Seriously, give it a rest, we ain't the fecking morality police.

I have traveled from Europe to Japan to buy a watch and I highly recommend it to you ! :D
Without meaning to go offtopic. Aren’t the low prices of japanese sellers mostly applicable (because they exclude tax) if they get some sort of confirmation that it is being exported?
I heard that even going there in person, the prices are different if you just pick it up…
