SM has stepped up their game...
$200 on sale and it has better finishing than my VSF sub....
Of course their finer design details such as font choice and dial balance is a little lacking... but there is always room to approve.

If San Martin gets a solid European designer and their Engineering listen to him, they would kill the watch game within a few years
San Martin should pull a Hyundai, hire the BMW M car dude, and create the watch equivalent of the N-Line. Sure, it won't be Rolex, but it will be decent enough quality and scratch the itch for those wanting to go fast.
...and change logo. A Japanese kamon for example, plenty of options/inspiration, essential design. Look at Ginault.
It seems obvious and I'm surprised it hasn't happened it. Ripe for the taking!
To be fair though, while I have bought several San Martin, i kept none of them

I purchased one of these for $136 on sale.
Well worth it. Waterproof, crazy lume dial, perfect for the beach where I'm not taking something fancier in salt water.
Only San Martin I've kept.

I was thinking of a GShock but a SM on sale might be…need to find one
They used to do, even custom dials too
But no longer.
