Hmmmm, here's Huntington's (they did the appraisal) web site:

http://www.huntingtonjewelers.com/

and phone number 702-878-3677

I spoke with them since I'm in Vegas and they actually did the apraisal and all they would tell me is they did do an appraisal for Michael Hammond (name on the appraisal) for a Panerai watch. I spoke with the top guy but he did not do the appraisal, but stated Daniel (I believe) did and she is qualified!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, ..........hmmmmm can't add too much more than that!

That HAS to be a diff watch then. I mean you can clearly see that the text is wrong, movement, etc.

wtf?

Wow the fact that they actually did do an appraisal makes this alot more interesting.

1. the appraiser was a numbskull.

Or

2. The guy selling it is intensionally defrauding people.

either way somthing uncool is going down for the unlucky bidders.

Numbskull is not really the appraiser...

The person who used the service and cert of the appraisal thinking it will help the sale of a rep is the numbskull...

The person who believed the value of the appraisal for a switched watch is a bigger numbskull...

... and the biggest numbskull is the one who won the bid.

So I put my white chanel j12 w/ diamonds (gen is like 12-14,000) on ebay to see what it would go for. I figured why not, I only paid like 150 for it, and had the box and papers. So I put in on, and NO WHERE on the listing did it say it was "authentic". Well, when the bidding got up to $3,000 and still had 4 days left, I had to end it. I chickened out, there was no way I could do that to someone. I prob could have sold it for like 500 or 600, but not what it would have gone for.........

Goes to show that there's really one born everyday.
