White one looks great on my wrist, I'd say it is a unisex watch regardless of size. I think everyone pointing out "gay" is either joking or has a skewed perception of real life and needs to go outside a bit more often.

I used to wear a white J12 ceramic. I wear a lot of white so it always looked good. And for all the dudes hating. Girls will complement a guy wearing a white j12 waaaaay more than some douche bag wearing a PAM :p

The watch was a great convo starter for a number of women I met and I'm also a professional fashion photographer so Chanel anything is pretty cool.

BUT the white watches are extremely played out. It was cool a year ago but now cheap watch makers have made so many all white watches that I refuse to wear it. I just picked up a hublot big bang all black and in terms of styling and appeal its on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I'm also a photographer for Lamborghini so this watch definitely suits the shoots/events that I go to very well.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is. The white j12 was cool a year ago, but get something else like a HBB :)

I heard that Chanel J12 was produced as a watch for women only, then, when men started to like it, they called their models "unisex" as a marketing policy, and started to sell J12 for men, too. Is this true? I really love the the J12 chrono model, on both colours. Ok, maybe I love more the white ceramic version.... :p But I'm afraid to buy it, because I'm aware of the danger to be called "the gay guy with the white watch". :) So...any Chanel addicts here to advise me?

I just bought the black chrono model for myself. I've heard plenty of clucking on other boards about how gay it is for a man to wear a Chanel watch. Frankly, I don't really give a damn. My chrono is a 41mm black ceramic watch. There is nothing about it that's feminine. I wouldn't advise getting a white one though, because then it gets a little iffy. Only black guys can wear a white watch and get away with it.

Get yourself a black one and wear it proudly. It's a great looking watch and there's no reason not to enjoy it.
